However, the effect of these drugs on ED is not well understood, and it has been hypothesized that they affect endothelium-dependent vasodilatation [
This could contribute to the vasodilation of the arterial walls, which is beneficial for the treatment of arterial hypertension (PAH), as it improves arterial dilation, thereby prolonging the blood flow to the arterial walls. Furthermore, the increased blood flow to the penis in patients with PAH is thought to be associated with the vasodilation of the penis and the increased blood flow in the penis, which in turn increases the likelihood of successful intercourse [
The objective of this study was to investigate whether the combination of sildenafil citrate with duloxetine could significantly enhance the vasodilation effects of sildenafil citrate in penile arteries of patients with PAH. We hypothesized that sildenafil citrate with duloxetine alone could enhance the vasodilation effects of sildenafil citrate in penile arteries of patients with PAH.
We consecutively reviewed the electronic medical records of all patients admitted to the Department of Urology between January 2015 and March 2016. We used the Sildenafil Citrate and Duloxetine Tablets (Sildenafil) tablets (

The inclusion criteria were male patients aged 18 to 87 years, having an erection lasting 4–8 min, and diagnosed with PAH within 5 days of ED treatment. Patients were excluded based on their current medication or their previous ED history, with or without penile vascular damage, with or without penile vascular damage, or concomitant penile vascular damage. Patients who received sildenafil citrate at the dosage of 1.25 mg was excluded.
